Life Support Behavioral Institute located in Centennial, Colorado offers Intensive Outpatient Programs for adolescent teen drug and alcohol addiction and adult drug and alcohol addiction for the Denver, Colorado area. LSBI offers an extensive therapeutic environment for adolescent teen drug and alcohol addiction ranging in age from 12 to 18 years or for adult drug and alcohol addiction and their families who are in need of a structured therapeutic environment or are experiencing a level of emotional distress that puts them at risk for hospitalization. LSBI's Intensive Outpatient Programs for drug and alcohol addiction are for Adolescent teens or adults showing behavior and/or psychiatric issues of such severity that they are incapable of functioning normally on a day to day basis.

Steps To Success
Participation in any drug and alcohol addiction program requires a big commitment. This commitment can appear to be overwhelming. To help facilitate the process of setting, pursuing and attaining goals, LSBI employs a 5 Level System:

Focus on Interpersonal Functioning
Develop an awareness of positive and negative interpersonal consequences of behavioral choices. |

Learn & apply skills and techniques that enhance positive self-talk, rational appraisal skills, emotional self-regulation and reality-based self-esteem. |

After Care Drug & Alcohol Addiction Maintenance Program
Attends one drug and alcohol addiction group session per week to maintain skills acquired and mastered in previous levels, prevent relapse to lower levels of functioning and ongoing preparation for a healthy self-sufficient and successful future at home and in society. |

Bilingual - English & Spanish Drug & Alcohol Addiction
CAC III Lead Programs
Life Support Behavioral Institute has a bilingual level III Certified Addictions Counselor with experience providing substance abuse therapy for Family Drug Court clients, individuals, groups and families as well as anger management group therapy for Social Services clients in English and Spanish.
4 Group Drug & Alcohol Addiction Sessions
And 1 Outpatient
Therapy Session Per Week
4 days a week of drug and alcohol addiction group sessions and 1 outpatient therapy session per week will work on education on drug and alcohol addiction, defining roles in the addictive family, anger management techniques, improving coping skills and interpersonal relationships.
